How OttoServ works with procurement sources
The source remains the source of record. OttoServ organizes authorized information around the contractor's workflow; it does not bypass the procurement system.
OttoServ may
- Use public APIs, public notices, authorized email alerts, user-provided documents, and officially supported connections.
- Track source links, solicitation identifiers, deadlines, amendments, and document lineage.
- Help a user understand requirements, scope, estimating inputs, team gaps, and response readiness.
- Prepare work for human review and preserve the resulting project context if an opportunity is awarded.
OttoServ does not
- Scrape protected portals or bypass authentication and access controls.
- Treat access to a notice as permission to redistribute protected commercial documents.
- Automatically certify eligibility, make a final pursue/no-bid decision, or commit a price on a user's behalf.
- Claim to submit through a procurement provider unless that exact bidder-side workflow is legitimately supported and authorized.
