Who must handle the regulated work.
Compensated electrical wiring, device, circuit and panel work is regulated in Florida. The electrical scope must be assessed and performed through an appropriately licensed electrical contractor; OttoServ does not present itself as the electrical license holder.

What actually changes the price
- diagnostic time
- circuit length and conductor/conduit requirements
- panel capacity and required upgrades
- device/equipment quantity
- attic, crawlspace or finished-wall access
- permit, utility coordination and finish restoration
Why a small-looking job can still cost more
Mobilization, difficult access, matching, protection, permits or repairing what is underneath can outweigh the visible size of a small project.
Where low estimates often leave gaps
- one quote includes diagnosis and another assumes the cause is already known
- wire route/access assumptions differ
- panel/circuit scope differs
- permit/utility coordination is included differently
- drywall/paint restoration is included or excluded
Bottom line
A useful price is attached to a defined scope. The cheapest number is not cheap if the missing work comes back later as extras.
