Who must handle the regulated work.
Florida licensing depends on the exact low-voltage scope. Compensated cable, satellite and computer-network wiring is listed by DBPR as licensed work, and alarm-system work has its own licensing rules; device setup or home-theater setup that does not involve wiring can be different. Any regulated wiring or alarm scope must go to the appropriately licensed contractor.
